A Phoenix native, Ruth has a deep love and appreciation for the desert, and spends as much time as she can outdoors. She also enjoys cooking, practicing yoga, and performing as a jazz vocalist.
Teaching Philosophy:
Cello lessons with Ruth focus on learning fundamental technique, music theory and notation, but above all evoking a genuine enthusiasm for this wonderful gift of music! Drawing on her experience of practicing and teaching yoga, she makes sure that body awareness and efficiency of movement are also addressed.
