Mr.Colin
Hi! I’m Colin, a 23-year-old guitarist and music instructor. I started playing guitar at a young age, jamming with my brothers, and by 16 I began taking lessons to really develop my skills. I also play piano, bass, and ukulele, which allows me to bring a variety of perspectives into my teaching.
I studied music at Arizona State University, focusing on theory, performance, and music therapy, which has shaped the way I approach teaching.
I draw inspiration from artists like The Beatles, Mac DeMarco, Santana, and Nirvana. I love learning about my students’ favorite musicians and incorporating that into lessons to keep them engaging. I also play in a band and perform live regularly, which keeps my skills sharp and gives me real-world experience to share.
My goal is to help you unlock your musical potential—whether that’s building skills, developing your style, or simply having fun playing. I create a supportive, encouraging space tailored to your goals and guide you every step of the way.
I’m excited to meet you, jam together, and be part of your musical journey!
