Lys Wainwright is a queer, professional violinist with over 20 years of experience on their instrument. Classically trained but creatively diverse, Lys blends indie, folk, noir, and soul influences into a heartfelt, approachable teaching style. They’re passionate about helping students develop a lasting, positive connection with music—whether they’re just beginning or rediscovering their love for it. Lys is especially committed to creating an encouraging, adaptive space for all learners, including students with learning disabilities. Based in Phoenix, they aim to make every lesson a space of trust, joy, and personal expression.
